![]() It’s a trend that would continue for months, too. It felt so incredibly satisfying to great in a shooter and not feel like I’m letting my team down half of the time. Not only was I doing well, I was actually topping my team’s post-match leaderboards at an implausibly high frequency. That feeling of dread, however, soon got replaced by sheer disbelief. I actually still remember entering my first stretch of online matches for the first Splatoon game with the familiar sense of trepidation that I felt when playing most shooting games.
