I know my editor, Luke Larsen, loves the XPS 13 and has consistently rated it the best laptop on the market. I was sent a fairly high-end, $1,550 configuration of the XPS 13 9310 - the base price is $1,150 –with a quad-core 11th-gen Core i7-1165G7 CPU, 16GB of RAM, a 512GB PCIe solid-state drive (SSD), and a 13.4-inch Full HD display in Dell’s new 16:10 aspect ratio. Imagine my excitement, then, when I was assigned the Tiger Lake refresh of the Dell XPS 13 to review. But there’s been a gaping hole in my experience - I’d never had the opportunity to review one of the best laptops on the market: The Dell XPS 13. I’ve reviewed a lot of laptops for Digital Trends over the last several years, and it’s been great.
